They are from Hong Kong. The founder study and work in Taiwan for 5 years before opening up a store in Hong Kong and then expanded back into Taiwan. Alot of brands say they are from Taiwan, but they did not start there and tends to false lead the consumers. Gong Cha is NOT the biggest chain in the US.
